Problem solving is a process, which aims to eradicated the problems. To achieve this, we need to deal with the so-called. "root causes". Often in everyday life we ​​don't focus on the root causes but on the consequences and instead of solving the problem we just "patch" it hoping it won't happen again. Lean tools help us build a structured cause-focused process, rather than on the implications for the problem.

Daily production management (SFM) is an essential tool in the production system. It also ensures the application of experience from problem solving and good practices in production and forms them into standards. It provides a visual presentation of current results at all levels of production management, as well as creating a structured problem-solving process at different levels. Performance results become visible to everyone from operators to senior management on a daily basis, and a problem escalation process is created when needed. It helps that small problems are solved at a lower level and do not reach management.

  • We will see a holistic approach to problem solving from defining a problem to standardizing solutions to prevent recurrence.
